Those lucky tourists, who visited Ljubljana this week, had the opportunity to experience the seasonal opening of Odprta Kuhna\u00a0(engl. Open Kitchen)<\/strong>, which takes place in Poga\u010darjev square. What is the better way to celebrate success at work or prepare for the exciting weekend, than outdoors, enjoying the experience that wakes up all senses?<\/em><\/p>\n

Every Friday, since 2013<\/strong>, the best restaurants from Ljubljana gather in the square next to the central market, to present some of their delicacies. At the beginning of the season, Odprta Kuhna <\/em>is open from 10 am to 9 pm<\/strong>, while in the summer evenings socializing over drinks often continues to the late in the evening. This year, alongside well-known participants of this food festival, six new restaurants are ready to show their art in action, including Pri Babici Marici<\/a>, Le Mousse Goose<\/a>, Majaronka<\/a>,Dobrovino.si<\/a>, and Bon Bon \u010dokoladni atelje<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is a unique opportunity, not just to feel the pulse of Ljubljana<\/strong> through enjoying delicious meals, drinks, and chatting with locals, but also to have a peek at the offer of different restaurants. Thus, it might be much easier to choose a perfect spot for lunch or dinner later that day. The best time to visit Open Kitchen, in order to avoid long waiting lines, is between 10 am and 14 pm, as locals usually go there after work to grab lunch or have a drink with friends and colleagues.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is something for everyone<\/strong>, from the gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan offer, up to the domestic Slovenian meat to satisfy the taste buds of meat-lovers, so we are sure that you will find a wide and delicious food offer appealing. Alongside the broad offer of drinks, you can choose from a variety of sweets, including cakes, cookies, pancakes, and more!
